The City of Rancho Cucamonga Master Fee Schedule details user fees for fee-related City services.
All City fees are consolidated in the Master Fee Schedule to assist our community and City staff in quickly locating the appropriate fee for service.
As part of a general cost recovery strategy, local governments adopt user fees to fund services provided or required due to the request or action of an individual or entity. User and regulatory fees are set according to the estimated reasonable cost of service. When a fee does not fully cover the cost for service another City revenue source subsidizes the cost — in most cases, the General Fund. Adjusting user fees annually helps reduce the need for General Fund subsidy.
Annual adjustments to the fees will be effective on the first day of each fiscal year, July 1, as set forth in fee resolutions, and staff will update the Master Fee Schedule accordingly. Annual adjustments are based on the area Consumer Price Index (CPI), Employment Cost Index (ECI) or Engineering News Record (ENR) where applicable.
