The City of Rancho Cucamonga is partnering with Burrtec Waste Industries and Chaffey College to host a one-day compost and mulch giveaway on Saturday, October 5 at Chaffey College (5885 Haven Avenue) from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Here are a few things to know before you go:
✅ This is a self-serve event! Please come ready with shovels, bags, tarps, containers, and gloves, and be prepared to load the materials into your own vehicle (we recommend bringing a friend or family member along to assist).
✅ This is a first-come, first-serve event with a limited supply. To allow as many residents to benefit from the giveaway as possible, we are limiting pick-ups to 1 cubic yard of material which is about five (5) standard trash bags per household; no commercial trailers or vehicles will be allowed.
✅ This event is open to Rancho Cucamonga Residents only. Proof of residency is required to participate.
