Biography

Council Member Ryan Hutchison is a fourth-generation resident of the Inland Empire. Ryan attended Citrus College, Chaffey College and then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College in 2009.

Ryan’s first job was working as a parking attendant at Quakes Stadium when he was sixteen years old. He went on to start his business in Rancho Cucamonga in 2004. Beginning in 2008, Ryan also went to work for the California State Legislature, giving him first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and how government works. Today, Ryan has over a decade and a half of successful experience in the private and public sectors.

Ryan is a homeowner in Rancho Cucamonga and an active member of our community. He is involved with the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary and the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce. 

Ryan believes that the most important issues to our community are promoting public safety, providing an innovative and sustainable business climate, and ensuring responsible use of taxpayer dollars.  Ryan ran for and was elected to the City Council in 2018 because he wanted to enhance the quality of life for his friends and neighbors in Rancho Cucamonga by working on projects like: finishing Central Park, providing traffic congestion relief, investing in amenities like parks and trails, and preserving open space for future generations to enjoy.
